Greetings My Boggs Academy Family,
2022 has proven to be a year of great adversity and at the same time a year of great promise. We have had many upsetting occurances for the past two years such as an assult on our nations capitol, numerous mass murders, and the continueing killing of our young black males and females. At the same time there is a beacon of hope in the state of Georgia electing two new senators that may be able to change the racist voting right laws enacted by the govenor and the trecherous and privileged right wing, which hopefully will make a change to eradicate the set-backs initiated in these changes. And the promise of new attitude from a number of leaders and corporations to right the wrong of centuries of discrimination and unfair labor practices that have kept our familes under generational poverty.
I am pleased to serve as the interim President of the BANAA and look forward to helping to guide us through this pandemic as our world continues to face an unprecedented medical crisis. Throughout this time, our health and safety remain our top priority.
The Board of our national alumni association will be hosting the 2022 All School Reunion in Waynesboro, Georgia. It is my sincere desire that all of you may be able to attend. Please continue to check our Facebook page and this website for updated information and may God continue to bless and keep you and your families for a safe and healthy rest of the year.
