Bereavement & Courtesy Committee

The BANAA Bereavement & Courtesy Committee provides support and recognition to families who have experienced the loss of a loved one within our Boggs Academy community.

Our Services

Here is what we accomplish:

  • Alumni or other persons notify us of deceased persons and provide information about who, when and where services will take place.
  • We prepare pre-printed resolutions to send to the next of kin by email or mail when possible.
  • Occasionally we send the resolution to the funeral home or church if this is the only information we are provided.
  • We aim to dispatch the resolution in time for the services.
  • This service is provided for IMMEDIATE FAMILY MEMBERS of alumni, associate members, former teachers and administrators.
  • When we have ample committee members, we can provide a sympathy card as well.

Note: Due to the fact that we have limited assistance, if the necessary information is not provided, we no longer have the resources to do extended research.
