About BRLC
The Boggs Rural Life Center (BRLC) was established to preserve and maintain the historic Boggs Academy campus in Keysville, Georgia. Since the school's closing in 1986, BRLC has worked tirelessly to restore the campus and keep alive the spirit of this important educational institution.
BANAA maintains a close relationship with the BRLC to ensure continued updates on the status of the campus and access when needed. We collaborate on annual cleaning events, restoration projects, and historical preservation initiatives.
A restoration effort was launched in 2014 by the Boggs Rural Life Center, with the ultimate goal of having Boggs listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
Purpose & Mission
The BRLC serves the community through various programs and activities while preserving the historic campus as a testament to the educational excellence that Boggs Academy provided for eight decades.
Our Partnership
We maintain a strong relationship with the BRLC to ensure a continued update on the status of the campus and access when needed. We have representation on the board to represent the Alumni during meetings and other activities.
We lend a hand when asked to help keep the campus in shape, including attending annual cleaning events at the campus to ensure it is still maintained. They are always very welcoming to our alumni.
We consider the campus very important to maintain the legacy of Boggs Academy. It may be beneficial to have someone from BRLC attend our meetings at some frequency to maintain that relationship and provide updates.

Events & Activities
BRLC hosts various community events throughout the year. Alumni are encouraged to participate in campus clean-up days and other preservation activities.
